The only "alcoholic" drinks, I drink, is malt beer and those low alcohol ciders, that can be bought in the supermarket without having to show someone your driver's license or passport.

Irish person here..... Had my first taste of alcohol when I was 5 years old - and it was a few sips of my Grandad's whisky.

As for my favourite alcoholic drinks. Gin & Tonic, Sake, Yuzu Sake, Umeshu, Soju, white & red wines........

Irish person here..... Had my first taste of alcohol when I was 5 years old - and it was a few sips of my Grandad's whisky.

It’s a tradition at this point that us Irish have our first drinks before 18😂I was a lot more modest as I had my first taste at 12/13

My preference go for red wine. I used to order a cup of Rioja or Cabernet Sauvignon with a steak on a steak house. Second goes for brandy. I have not had a drink in ages however.

not sure of laws in Ireland, but in other countries/states/cities it is legal for teens to drink before legal drinking age if parents allow, but only at home. This often is things like beer and wine, but usually spirits are prohibited.
