What Kind Of Music Did You Grow Up With? (1 Viewer)

Rock/grunge/alternative was like such a narrow band of time, like from the early nineties (when I n most of the world first heard/knew of it) to late nineties-I'm referring mostly to grunge/alternative heyday.

I only listened/bought (n really liked) Nirvana's In Utero n R.E.M. (I bought n liked Monster, but heard n liked Losing My Religion before.)
I dint really get into Pearl Jam, soundgarden, counting crows(if they're grunge/alternative) or others then or later. Except blind melon no rain.

Wat were some of ur faves?

well Nirvana has been my all time favourite band ( I even have all albums).
I am still very into Fall Out Boy, The Libertines, Babyshambles, Panic at the Disco, Paramore and My Chemical Romance (MCR might really be back soon too which is just so exiting).

During high school I got into Jpop 😌 best time of my life. In November 2014, I discovered Kpop and I was a big fan until November 2019. Now I am just way less into it.

Hmm~ Well i'm in highschool but i grew up with a lot of older music, *Mumbles* Thanks dad *Coughs* anyway~ i listen to a lot of things like:

Well I was raised on my dad's taste so stuff like then I got into my first serious music phase which was a bunch of pop-punk type stuff like
then edm then rock then kpop then edm again then hip-hop then kpop and now onto where i'm just a massive music fan in general
still young tho so idk

Well, the end of elementary school was when I started developing a music taste. And it started with rock.

5th grade to mid-high school: Paramore, Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, Flyleaf, Skillet, Shinedown, Red, Rise Against, Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Disciple, Fall Out Boy, Three Days Grace, Anberlin etc.

High school senior to now, I've been listening to K-Pop and J-Pop

College freshman to now, I've been listening to R&B: 90s, 2000s, Alternative

College senior to now, I've been listening to rock again. I blame Foo Fighters.
