I think there’s very few groups who have unique concepts in kpop tbh. Even SuperM don’t have one anymore now that Omega X is a thing. Red velvet maybe, though I know that some blinks use the same concept for blackpink, but it’s not an official thing.

Whilst the superpower concept isn’t new, I don’t think any group other than EXO has kept it consistent throughout their releases, music videos and concert performances over the course of a decade.

I don't think any group honestly has a unique concept anymore....while red velvet seems unique because they alternate between cute/bubbly (red) concepts vs. mature/darker (velvet) concepts many groups before them did those things but they didn't label it as their concept.

I guess you could say aespa because the idea of animated avatars is somewhat unique but we also have a soloist who is an animated bunny avatar so like??? Universes isn't a unique concept either EXO has done it-there power MV is an example of it. Loona also has done it and now more groups are doing it.

You could say that LOONA's debut PROCESS was unique though. Same with T-ara for their long-ass music videos. Like @eclipsoul said.

The problem with Kpop is if someone creates something unique then it's going to be copied with Loonas pre-debut being the exception although considering the debt BBC is in from it there might be a reason it wasn't copied.

I saw someone who said RV's real concept is creepy weird or just a tad off. Not to be confused with the music which is all over the map not confined to red or velvet.

Purple Kiss yes. WJSN were the first ones to debut with a cosmic concept so they count.

For me it's a concept based on self-expression, confidence and self-mockery. Their songs have always been more mature than the average Kpop group.
