English and I can understand, speak, and write basic Japanese & I understand basic French but I cannot respond.

I can read enough Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese to navigate myself around and get a basic understanding about what a song is about but I cannot understand the languages when spoken.

I have never made an attempt to learn it, but I can understand a lot of Afrikaans from different Afrikaner artists and I understand about 20% to 60% of what a conversation is about when my South African friends speak it. It's an incredibly easy language to understand and master imo.

Yeah, but I find it a lot easier than French which is supposed to be easier. Korean is easier than Japanese and more fun in my opinion. I failed Japanese twice in college.
