There's one that ruined my childhood and had me sleeping with my blanket over my head for about two years, made me afraid of the dark, and really just absolutely terrified me . I don't remember the name and I can't find it by searching it, but basically it starts with men robbing a bank and taking hostages. [ TW : Graphic ] They take the hostages to a dumpster, move the dumpster, and then everyone climbs down a ladder into the sewers. There's a serial killer/murderer in the sewers that has a saw and cuts people's eyes out and puts them in jaws, and this killer hunts down a lot of the men/hostages. I remember I watched so much of it because I was too scared to move, it was definitely released prior to 2014 but I feel like I saw it around 2010/11/12 more precisely, I was young and not in high school yet. I don't recommend it and it was awful.

When I was around 5ish I watched Chucky at a friends house, his parents were watching it with us! I actually had one of those dolls too, it was called a My Buddy doll. I went from loving it and taking it everywhere being terrified of it and burying it in my closet and then trying to keep it anywhere but my room. My mother would find it and put it back in my room which would terrify me even more because I didn't know it was her bring it back. She finally made me tell her what was going on after she caught me trying to make our bulldog eat it. I've never seen the rest of the Chucky movies.

And I'm not sure you could convince me to sit in a room with a My Buddy doll.

Chucky is the reason why I find dolls creepy now.

I LOVE Chucky. I've grown up watching him and I'd always figure out ways to kill him in my head. Like I was ready to straight up obliterate him. Ofc, now I know he isn't much possible to kill. But he has grown as an individual. He's not as heartless and closed-minded as he once was. I am currently waiting for the new season of Chucky.

Ok, so, the movie that messed me up as a kid was Signs. Particularly the scene where the alien walks past the alleyway the kids are looking past at some kids b-day party. I was in covers watching it and hid because I knew it was scary and I asked to be told when it's over. Well the person who was supposed to tell me told me when it wasn't over. I saw it and it TRAUMATIZED me. Like I legit NEVER watched that movie again until I became an adult. It's still got the creep factor but now I realize the "alien" looks more like some dude in a wetsuit.

Being told that my singing voice is horrible too many times to count. I used to sing whenever I was happy, and I like making other people happy. Thinking there was no way to improve my singing voice and it would always bother people (I was really young and didn’t know it could change), I slowly but surely stopped randomly singing when I was happy. I’m working on getting over it though. Now I only sing from happiness around my closest friends and people that I trust won’t painfully remind me of how bad I sound and will just let me have fun in the moment.

Edit: I can’t read, this is about what movie. None, surprisingly.

Not really any movies, but one episode of a tv show (Hickory Dickory Dock of Poirot when I was 7)

But for one movie, I could say sort of did, I wasn't really a child, I was 15, but anyways I had a child pass to this movie festival for my culture, and my brother and I went to watch a movie called Chocolate and it said it was a romcom or wtv, we expected some slapstick with a name like Chocolate

Anyway apparently it was called Chocolate for CHOCOLATE FLAVORED CONDOMS and a guy loses his ring he's gonna propose with in a box of chocolate flavored condoms in a factory for them and then they're sold and he has to get it back, and I got us THE HECK OUT OF THERE before anything could happen right before a scene of the first purchasing couple of the chocolate flavored items was coming up
