is the solution to the problem which is systemic around the world violence???

Most people does not like to hear it but I think a certain degree of violence is necessary to keep people in check or otherwise there is always going to be one group taking advantage of another, politicians (to use just one example) all over the world but especially in the western world are becoming increasingly tyrannical because we haven't had a good old fashioned uprising in a very long time. Imo, it's about time that our leaders are reminded that they are elected to serve the people and not the other way around.

The real problem arise when countries are as divided as we currently are and both sides feel justified in taking matters into their own hands and use violence, what then? Do we destroy each other or descend into anarchy? I don't have a good answer to this and it could be that civil war and death on a massive scale is just necessary on occasion, we humans like to imagine we're above nature but in the end we are just animals who need to fight it out. On the other hand we now have the means to actually destroy ourselves permanently.

I do feel bad for younger generations who were born into this mess, to them it's just how it's always been so I can understand why they see things differently. It does unfortunately mean that we are the last ones who can change things because when we are too old the tyrants have won, there's a clock ticking and when that happens there's not much time for discourse.

That's just my 2 cents as someone who has seen their country go from one of the safest in the world to one that tops crime statistics in certain categories over the course of my lifetime.

There is sexism, no civics sense, corruption in every place, religion is EVERYWHERE which no one can say anything against, mental health? Hopefully somewhat existent among newer generations but not enough, and the list goes on

in the olden days people wouldn't hesitate to pick up the sword or gun to defend themselves and their families
nowadays we are suppose to be more civil than that and the law and government is suppose to do that to protect us...

what happens if the laws are unjust? what if it is the very government that is harming citizens?
is that a good justification to use violence? in defence of the greater good?
also greater good for whom? the majority? the vocal minority?

then one can further push the issue that what if one used violence before things becomes too bad? is that justification? that in the benefit of hindsight if one can see a country/government/state turning out "bad" does that give someone the right to pre-emptively pick up the sword?
