Yeah, definitely. And Brothers of Metal. They're newer, they only have two albums, but they've really carved out a niche alongside Amon Amarth. It's super impressive. But then again, it's also sort of easier, since they do power metal instead. lol.

lol. Have you heard amon amarth's berserker album. It's so effin' amazing on all fronts
It's like three albums by them in terms of pure quality work. <3 that good <3

Power metal I am not big on. Only one I know is dragonforce lol

Berserker is soo good. I like all their albums, but love "Twilight of the Thunder God" the most. But overall, I just really appreciate how they're able to sound like vikings in actual longships going off to war. They totally nail the sound. And Johan Hegg is basically my growling inspiration. Hehe. Love that man.

I'm huge on power metal, and there's a ton of variety in it, so there's something for everyone there, I think. You'd probably like Powerwolf, who are basically werewolf-vampire theme. Lots of Catholic and Satanic references, but they're just having fun at the end of the day.

You know I love my Satan themes <3 Religious stance aside, it's just fascinating to hear about it in musical form.
Swede metal is beast, enough said.

It reminds me of an episode of Salem, which is brilliant in itself <3 the outfits are brill and the sound is wow <3

Ooh, I hadn't thought of that, that's a good point! And glad you liked it :'D They're from Germany, pretty much right up there with Sweden. I sometimes feel like those two countries have this secret war to see who can do metal better, and we're all winners. lol.

Ah. I was thinking they were German or Polish. glad my first hunch was right.
German was in my dna results so many years ago and now its Belgian so ohhhhh
