What subunits do you know that have more members than the main group? (1 Viewer)

Ofc the opposite is more common, but do you know any where the subunit has more members?

Nuest M and Super Junior M both had more members in the subunits because they added Chinese members not part of the main group. Not positive if that’s still the case with Suju.

Not sure about that one since it includes all current NCT members I think, (except Wish?). There were also members in NCT U that aren’t in NCT any more, but by extension I think they also shouldn’t count as NCT U now. Which would put NCT U as having less members than NCT pretty sure now that we have Wish.

But if 127 wish and dream are NCT groups that was where i was going U has ppl from all the stable groups. And its bigger than dream wish and at times 127. I think the way to look at NCT is what ever melon and hanto count as a group is a separate enity.
i kinda think of the whole of nct like sm town something that exists every year or so.

My default was to count 127 and Dream and the rest as subunits too. If you count them as full groups then yeah NCT U has more.

Got the Beat is a good point, I forgot about that. SuperM would be the same situation
