I was reading a bubble tea recipe and I thought to myself, this last step is weird. They add most of the ingredients to the glass before the boba, I should add the boba first so there'll be nothing in the way to stop the boba from reaching the bottom. What were these ingredients you may ask? Milk, tea, and syrup. You know, those totally solid ingredients that will totally stop the boba from sinking by getting in the way. How did I not pick up on that minor fact before?
