and how did you like it? was the ending a happy one? (the last one is in case I want to read it - my #1 rule of books is it has to have a happy ending)

I just finished Fools Rush In by Janice Thompson. it's the first installment in her Weddings by Bella series, and it's about an Italian-American wedding planner who falls for the deejay for her current wedding project... except he doesn't really turn out to be a deejay - DJ is just his name. lol it's romantic, funny, and did I mention uplifting? It's got a lot of inspirational quotes in it, too - my fav from the book is "Where there's life, there's hope." I gave it 5 stars on Kindle - 10/10 would recommend!

Tailored Realities by Brandon Sanderson. It's his newest release: a collection of mostly sci-fi short stories. I feel like most story collections tend to be uneven, but the worst I felt about any of them was "that was fine," so I'm pleased.

Unless you mean the last full novel, in which case, before that was Outlaw Planet by MR Carey, and I loved that. It's the third in a sci-fi series, though, so not something you can really just jump into. I wouldn't describe the ending as "happy," but rather satisfactory considering the characters.

Rereading all of Jim Butcher for the new book in January. Finished Ghost Story and am now into Cold Days. ( i am pushing a stupid high number of rereads of this series (since there are 20 ish books now ) some books are in the 20 area re reads. mostly because they are short an d super easy to reread ( i have re red several this year aside from the mass reread) ( pushing my LOTR rereads)
This year i did much of the red rising series for the first time.
All of the Wheel of Time again.
The 2 Percy Jackson sets and the Kane set.
Reread some of the Sanderson leather bound's

bunch of other stuff.

I think the ending was pretty happy and cute. I am def gonna re-read later for a third time but I gotta wait till my brain forgets what happened lolll

I recently tried promova.com/page/ai-language-learning-app and was impressed with how natural the conversations feel. The AI tutor really helps build speaking confidence without the pressure of real people. Pronunciation feedback isn’t perfect but much better than basic apps. The free version is good to start, but Premium makes practice more meaningful. Definitely worth trying!
