I think the era of akb is coming to an end too many management problems every news I hear about them is a mess Maybe Japan is moving on to solo artists movement ? So many new and good soloist are presented in new ways in the industry I love it

bummer groups are just more fun.
Its why i came to kpop and jpop from the soloist dominated usa industry.
to the point that i have not streamed bought an album or dl a song from any us artists for over a decade.

I am just learning that a chunk of the girls had almost no idea what PD 48 was they just put em on a plane. Eri was one for sure.

i would guess these were ones who did AKS songs.

This added to the shock the kids had.

i guess good management is hard to find world wide...

They have disbanded teams A,K,B, and 4.
The teams had an identity and would preform shows as a unit both in the AKB theater and other venues.
Each team is having a final concert as a team. For example Hitomi is/was in Teams A, and 8
They announced the concert dates for teams A k b and 4 in the spring for early AUG. (team 8 they announced the hiatus earlier they had their concert already.)

Early in aug they are announcing a new format of some sort no one really knows even the girls who are all kinda nervous ofc.

What is know is that theater shows are going back the previous standard of 16+ ( since Covid when they were allowed to have shows they only had 8 members on stage.)

Fixed the typo, but you had already read it. all current teams are dissolved in aug.
From the beginning teh First gen members were Team A Second gen team k 3rd gen team B .. they would shuffle members periodically but each team bonded. And Team A was always kinda the flag ship team. (Sakura and Miru were part of team A along with HKT and NMB for example)

yep some of the issues here are that the captain of team b was told she didnt need to go.
Hitomi they said had other commitments and she posted what??
There still seems to be high levels of confusion and awful communication between mgt and the members.
