What's an international movie you watched recently that you like? (1 Viewer)

I just finished watching El Analfabeto (The Illiterate One), a 1961 Spanish-language film. It's free on YouTube (for right now) and is about an illiterate man who receives a letter saying that he is the inheritor of 2 million pesos, which starts off a series of events regarding his job, love, and education.

That amount of money in USD in today's standards, btw, is 102,251.12. If anyone can find the conversion rate for MXN to USD around 1961 that would be so nice :)

I know you're asking about recent films, but I have to mention this Indian action film called 'RRR' I've seen several months ago and it was so good!! That's all I'll say! Do not worry because it is English subtitled.
Just a bit of warning ~ The full run time is a bit over 3 hours, so make sure to clear that much time in your day if you want to watch it.

Another one is called 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' ~ about a real-life Indian female criminal. A more serious film.
The run time is 154 minutes or a bit over 2.5 hours.

The last one is called 'Bachchhan Paandey' ~ about a fictional criminal. It is an action-comedy.
The run time is 165 minutes or almost 3 hours.

The two other films are also English subtitled.
