Wow, I imagine it's different for everyone. I also imagine it's a grass is always greener on the other side situation. I think life would be different had I been an only child but not necessarily better. I have a sister 7 years older and a sister 5 years younger. My older sister had it the hardest growing up because we were from a poor family with a single mother who worked herself to the bone keeping a roof over our heads. She spent her teenage years when she should have been having fun, baby sitting me and my younger sister. She did a good job and I don't think I ever saw her get upset or angry at the situation even once. If I was given the choice I would have chosen to have siblings with out a second thought. I think not having my sisters would be very lonely. I always know I have sisters to back me up. It's nice having people who are going to tell it to me like it is even if it hurts. It's also nice having sisters to worry about. We annoy eachother, we hurt each others feelings, we don't hesitate to make fun of each other, we cry on each others shoulders, we pick each other up when we're down. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
