Songs that are basically about flexing... Our group is so amazing lets make an entire song about it... Its annoying and gratuitous.. and reminiscent of a lot of Mainstream American Rap that I find reductive.

Not specifically about the song, but I hate in k-pop videos when there is a gangster aesthetic.. Its almost always try hard. Which is why I try to listen to the song first before the mv, so I am not biased against the song because I didn't like the mv.. Some groups, like Twice, this doesn't apply to since they have concepts that I always like, so...

And when there is a fusion of k and english lyrics or other languages that isn't natural. Mamacita doesn't count since its baked into the song, but when its like near the end of a song and isn't integrated well. Where its out of nowhere. And when the english doesn't make sense. Sadly, this does apply to Mamacita: "Just close your lips. Shut your tongue." But I was mainly talking about the chorus earlier. lol

including the 'We are so cool' that just showing up is enough.

and maybe more of a lack of focus on actually song.

like if they wanna be cool do something like Psycho, Naughty, RDR, i'm so sick, panorama ect.

when there is random chatter in the middle of a song, for example, Oh my god- (G) I-DLE at the 2:36 mark. don't get me wrong I love that song but in my opinion, every time I hear it just ruins the song in

was about to say the same thing actually. i love high notes when they are well placed and well executed, but some idols literally just scream out the notes and it's almost painful to listen to. these companies need to stop adding high notes to songs just for the sake of doing so and only add them if they have a vocalist that can actually support the note.

i hate when all the members kinda like "scream" sing together??? ive noticed it the most in NCT/SM songs but it sounds more like shouting or talk singing to me
