serious things: i abandoned the entire "love thy neighbour" attitude i took from my teachers in high school who preached about how important it is to be friends with people who have different views than you. like sure, i can be friends with people with different taste in food and movies but hanging out with someone who would casually talk to me as if we're friends and then support a party who wants to have my rights taken away? why the fuck would i do this to myself?
unserious things: i used to think complaining about people being loud in your building was useless as there's noise everywhere... until i met my current neighbour from hell who would blast shitty polish rap with homophobic slurs in its lyrics like the entire time when he's at home. luckily i was able to catch a break since last week because his speaker from temu probably broke
