Working in fast food for a while I was changing shifts quite frequently, worked either mornings or night shift and would always mix up "Have a good day" and "Have a good night", it was awkward saying having a good night at 9 AM in the morning.

sometimes if I give someone something, even just lending them something ill go "the straws are over there, have a nice day" and then I just die internally

As a teen I asked my mom about the female reproductive system, but used the wrong word to describe something that happens during the fertile window.
She didn't even correct me. I just guessed the right word afterwards and she said "Thank you for rephrasing that."

Not really something that I said, but more something I did that fits this category. I learned that I couldn't see well because I kept going up and talking to random women or hugging them that looked vaguely like my mother or step-mom which is just barely still allowable at 11/12, and my parents finally got the message that I couldn't see lol.
