chicken heart soup and cow tongue i guess ? its relatively common i know but still weirded me out lol i couldnt stop gagging at the thought of eating chicken hearts (the flavor was fine tho), and its been too long ago since i ate the tongue but i remember liking it a lot

The chicken hearts soup sounds good although I have eaten chicken hearts, but not in a soup. I recently eat cow tongue, and I liked it.

how did you have the hearts then, if not in a soup? just sauteed? i think i wouldnt have minded it so much if the hearts were cut up first, like the tongue. visually it just made me queasy seeing the whole hearts floating in my soup

They were done on a pan along with chicken liver. Well, visually, I don't get affected by their shapes. LOL

But pig's ears, pig's skin, chicken legs and heart-liver-lungs are also weird for some people, while they're normal food for others.
Also, I'm famous for trying food I don't even know what it is. Like during my Thai trip.

ooh i love liver~ pan fried actually sounds yummier than in a soup, i might try it that way someday but i'll make sure to make it unrecognizable first

cow tongue, I guess it's not that weird since it's in many cultural dishes but it had an odd texture and I disliked it

chestnut ice cream because i didn't even know you could make ice cream from chestnut. and that's the closest i'll get to weird, i'm a picky eater wouldn't ever eat a tongue or smth
