Sensitive What's the worst accidental injury you've had this year? (1 Viewer)

Inspired by my most recent trip to the ER.

Last night I was cutting a zip tie off some packaging and my pocket knife slipped.
Shoved the dang thing about an inch into and 1/4" through my thumb.
I'm now the owner of four stitches keeping everything together.

Anyone else having terrible luck with injuries?

i got a piece of glass embedded in my foot last week and had to cut it out pretty much my clumsiness was funny at first, now it's just sad

when i was in the mental hospital in early march i got stabbed in the neck with a plastic (why did they allow that) fork...

That really sounds like the staff on duty were not doing a very good job of keeping an eye on things. Then again, they never are.

Ouch that sounds so painful, hopefully it heals quickly.

The only thing I can think of (and I’m not even sure it counts since I’m still unsure of how it happened) I started getting really severe side pain, it would hurt constantly no matter what I did, if I laid down and put heat on it it would still be giving me extreme pain. I couldn’t bend over for more than a few seconds without almost bawling my eyes out. No idea what happened, it ended up slowly getting better on its own.

I was about to go downstairs to retrieve my cookie order (I live in an upstairs apartment) when I failed to see the ottoman in the middle of the living room and FELL BACKWARDS so hard our neighbor got concerned. (we have all hardwood floors) Luckily, I didn't concuss, but I did see stars for a couple seconds!

Oof, anything with ribs is the worst because then every time you breathe....pain. Hope you healed up well!

Side pain is no good, maybe talk to your doctor about that. Lotta things that could be.
