first of all, thank you for tagging.

second, I´m gonna skip over obviously terrible situations like when racism, xenophobia, homophobia or sexism are tolerated because I think those are some pretty big red flags for every sane, at least somehow emotionally healthy person.

I would say for me it is a deal breaker when I have no one to talk to, when the forum becomes a closed "VIP" place filled with friends and nothing more. also when it all becomes messy and the staff is obviously not present (I get it that life happens but you can always handle the responsibilities to someone else? or at least share some?)

also when people start back stubbing each other.

Hmmm, well in my case what made me leave a forum was the amount of beef I heard about and how the site itself was managed as well as a lot of my friends just outright leaving.

Not feeling good when visiting a site it the worst feeling cause like... you used to go there to have fun but now you go cause you either have an obligation or friends that expect you. So that would make me leave definitely.

Staff and people on the site ofc too have to be nice and logical in the way they treat their site and other users. Can't stand trolls.

In the past it was never the staff that was a problem for me. It was more so the members being toxic, as well as the extra drama from forum "friends"... I have learned a lot from those situations. I don't know if I will ever truly allow myself to get super close to a group of people online again, or at least close enough to know my identity. for my own sake.

I don't think there's anything that'd really bother me enough to make me leave a forum as while I have ended up leaving a forum that was going through drama however my original intention was to just go on a break as I get burnt out once in a while when it comes to being social and at the time they coincided and getting banned at that time was where I just moved on but if I didn't get banned then I doubt I would have although now I don't really use forums just from lack of interest.

i been through utter shit too on forums where it made me leave
people being crazy and unfair to me
after all that happening i am like; online people , calling them friends? what's the use?
people betray you in real life but even more easily online
for most people , the others they talk to online is just for fun and killing time
not because they TRULY care for the other , why would they? its just a screen they looking at, not a face

i am different however but i also changed my ways
i do not see online friends as real friends anymore because i am too afraid they going to fak me up again

What are my limits...

To be honest, I have left other forums when I lose interest on the subject. The forum other than kpop forums that I had stayed for longer was for about a year. It was a coding forum. I just might return to it since I'm retaking the language learning thing once again and now I have a good motivation to keep going. I have stayed on akp more or less since August 2017, because I only use the jpop section. I abandoned another kpop forum because out of the blue a mod decided to warn me after posting six new threads on their jpop section. It was six new releases from six different groups. The reason given was spam. I just wondered how could they think I was spamming. Was this a case of lazy moderation on not being willing to check whether it was really warranted? Or rather was a policy on applying the same blanket rules even on essentially dead sections. Either way, it was unacceptable. I didn't acknowledge the warning and decided to never return. I don't need it. Kpop forums are more than enough to worry for lazy or sloppy moderation on one of them.

I mostly just block those users, i have much lower threshold to block on some sites.
If i block em there i usually block em here.

I've been dogpiled on multiple times. But I have a strong sense of self.

I don't leave because I don't complain to mods a lot so I end up not blaming the forum. Plus mods delete proof of incidents occurring. I'd rather leave proof that someone is an asshole than have a mod delete it.

One time someone called me out for actually not belonging to a fandom. Now I actually agree with them. I'm a multi. However, I still put that annoying mfer on ignore.

I have only one user on ignore in this forum and it was due to a very serious offense, a direct insult. I won't mention names.
