What's your opinion on HMs in Pokémon? (1 Viewer)

I think ones like Fly, Surf and Strength were fine as they are moves you could actually use but ones like Cut, Rock Smash and Flash were just wasted move slots ​

Yeah I always hated hms cause they were pretty much just a waste of a move slot. Even the better ones usually aren't the best move a pokemon could use.

Most of them are useless. I always had HM slaves for this

I liked using certain ones like Fly and Surf since they'd do a decent amount of damage, but some of the other HM's are useless after a while (mainly Flash and Rock Smash)

HMs feel such a waste, i try to put them on pokemon that i dont' like that much

Fly and surf were pretty useful both in and out of battle. Strength was acceptable to an extent, but the rest were just annoying. I'm glad they eventually did away with them.

Not only were they wasted move slots but they were not simple to replace
