When do you think it's time for Idols to get more solo projects? (2 Viewers)

I was thinking about it, for example, Twice debuted almost six years ago, but the members barely have any solo activities.
A group won't be in their prime forever, so I think it's important that Idols also have an individual fanbase and public recognition.

I think it's different for every idol, depending on their strengths and weaknesses. I do think it would be better if Twice for example had some soloists because they're pretty old, and there's no guarantee they'll renew next year (it is next year right?).

It really depends on when they peak as it's more common to see a group peak early in their career and then solidify the group for a couple and start getting into more focused on solos around the 5 year mark but with Oh My Girl as an example they didn't break out until the 5 year mark so there's only so much they can do as the group should be the focus now

easier said than done, but it establishes a good foundation for a solo career before attention from the group starts to wane too much

For BGs, probably once members start enlisting etc. to bridge the gap, I'd rather have solos instead of a new unit or under the same name but with less members

partly becuase of tempo but ..

SNSD had solo projects pre debut.
RV with in 2-3 years.
izone within months.

its the agency's job to help each member develop a brand for the rest of thier career.
