In your opinion, when is the minimum time in the relationship to start even considering having kids... For me: I don't plan on having kids... ever. But I think within the first year it would be a disaster to have kids. Aren't the first few years about settling in... What about you?

Obviously, I am talking about intentionally having kids and not getting accidentally knocked up.. But still there's abortion in those cases, so..

When you and your partner are financially stable, have formed a strong bond based on love, respect and honesty, and have your own home.
So, when you're both around 40 years old

When you both ready. My mom and step-dad had a baby right after getting married. He also did propose to my mom the first time they met. Both he and my mom were super young, but they well-off family, so money wasn't a problem anyway. It work well for them though cuz they had 9 kids after.

Generally speaking a couple should decide when they want to have kids. Hopefully they have done some soul searching an not just gone off the want to have spawns.

Advice speaking a couple should make it through a year of marriage before considering kids. The first year is generally the hardest since your getting used to living with another person. Of course if you already live together well then this advice goes out the window.

But in sound advice for couples not living together before marriage it's best ot wait a year, year and a half to get used to living with each other and sharing a life together before you toss a kid into the mess.

for people in general i think it's their call and it also depends how long they've been together pre-marriage.


for me, i'm never having kids but i might adopt. in that case i don't think i'd depend on a partner at all, i'd take care of the child myself (maybe thats an optimistic outlook that i'd even be capable of raising a child on my own).

I don't know it's not something that goes to plan to be honest, but it would better if the lived together a more than a year so and stable... But having baby can fuck up the most prepared couple to be honest, or/and fuck up the kids.

I think it should happen whenever you’re ready. I do think that before a year or two is too soon though. But, to each their own.

As for me, I’d want to be with someone for a few years before I even think about children. I need to know whether or not I want to put up with you for the rest of my life.
