As we know nct is about connecting people from all over the world...
and so far we have some good representation for lots of country's...
but im hoping for more...

Country's we got:
South korea: Doyoung, Haechan, Jaehyun Jaemin Jeno Jisung Jungwoo Taeil Taeyong
North korea : Renjun << he has heritage here we are still unsure how close it is though
China: Renjun, Chenle, Winwin, Lucas, Kun, Yangyang, Xiojun, Hendery
Thailand: Lucas, Ten
Japan: Yuta
Canada: Mark
America: Johnny
Germany: Yangyang




Countries we we need:
[in order of importance in my opinion]
{{i didnt list countries without east asian population for obv reasons}}
{{all these countries have high immigration from china apart from India}}
1. Australia
2. England
3. Vietnam
4. Taiwan
5. Indonesia
6. Malaysia

8. Russia
9. Brazil

11. New zealand

---i dont know how well Korea would take the members from below countries ---

13. India << would be higher if the possibility of getting a east asian india was higher.. but if one auditions i hope sm snatches them up right away..

Taiwan, Australia, and England I can see happening, but I'm unsure about the other countries since it's late and I want to sleep haha.

Now that China is opening up Taiwan may cause some issues because of politics. The music industry really cares about the bigger market and the political winds in SK are more pro China as the left wing party in charge is anti-American but pro-China. Maybe someone from Singapore of Chinese ethnicity would be the best to reach the overseas Chinese population.

Brazil and Europe (probably via England or France) is a huge untapped market. Latin America is great because knowledge of one language and the connected Latino cultures is easy to access with one swoop, idk if someone from Spain would relate to L.America. Europ is also more easy to access with one swoop because the continent is so well connected.

australia i think is very doable, especially if sm has any korean-australian trainees under their sleeves (like how felix and bang chan from skz are very popular here and we have a lot of aussie stays, so if there's a similar type of member in upcoming nct units there will definitely be an increase in aussie nctzens)
as a vietnamese person, i would also love to see a vietnamese idol (at all ) and vietnam is definitely very hungry for one, so if sm does debut one in the upcoming units they'll definitely be majorly supported

Just saying, it will be impossible for SM to get someone from Taiwan and call them Taiwanese. Unless they want WayV to plummet.

they will just say they are from taiwan..

Im shocked sm hasnt gone for a english idol yet...
as americans loves them
and england would be soo happy and open up so much tv work..
plus i think international one direction fans will be happy xD

Yes a English gives access to the whole Anglosphere, Europe and the US. I don’t know why more kpop companies don’t recruit English idols. The only reason I can think of is that their are more East Asian/Korean descendant people in the US then England and Kpop companies simply don’t see the potential of Europe yet. Plus if their is an American and English there can be a fun rivalry-pairing 😂

There is no shortage of english east asians, but ive never heard of a audition process here...
and due to the distance i can see alot of english people being put of trying
due to having to pay for there own flights etc
