I don't know about skill-wise but Tzuyu from Twice is the first to come to mind because she has gotten so much more expressive and confident. She has genuinely good facial expressions now and she didn't for a very long time.
Wonjin from Cravity, he went from a humble voice to someone trustsed with adlibs, he can change his tone colour in a flash he's crazy. If Woobin isn't the best vocalist from Cravity then he is
yuta from nct in my opinion he's always had a lovely tone of voice, but i think it's really wonderful how he's gone from a no-lines member to touring as a soloist. i still remember when his first solo cover dropped, which, at the time, was literally the first time some people had heard his voice LMAO 😭
for a good to excellent, luna went from forgettable as a vocal to being one of the vocals of kpop which I think is a harder jump
she's slide really downhill in recent years but ock joohyun basically opened doors for idols to go into musical theatre which I consider big too
Compare a 14 year old Sakura to now. big change especially dancing. Even AKB seniors called out her effort back in teh day. ( course there was blood feude between them but ..)
