None is better. I’d say good parenting is more in the middle not too strict however not too lenient either.​

A mixture, but I think the mixture should be tailored to the child's personality. Like yeah it's also important to not favor some or your kids over others but if one kid takes everything very personally I feel you should be more gentle with them if that makes sense. Being more gentle just because you like that kid more no, but if it's going to harm the kid more than another yeah. Which is a hard thing to do tbh. And one of the 8484575 reasons I will never be a parent.

A) if you're too strict with your children that could have negative effects such as being secretive/sneaky and your relationship with your child isn't good etc..
B) if you're too lenient with your child that could also have negative effect such as them being spoiled and doing dangerous stuff etc..

in my experience, i tend to dislike strict parenting more. Like, I see parents preventing kids from doing such small things and it’s like, why?

Leniet atw. My mom never cared abt me studying much and that way i did well in school. She never bothered to meet or talk to teachers. I used her makeup as soon as kindergarten age. By 12, I always wore makeup. I find it crazy when parents forbid makeup. I admire my mom a lot.
