no cuz what if the fat is too much and the paper towel starts disintegrating? first of all that's nasty cuz there could be bits of wet paper towel that stuck to the pan/beef which is nasty

idk my family has always boiled the nasty stuff out of the beef overnight and then the beef crumbles better but she didn't CLEAN IT OR DRAIN IT SHE USED PAPER TOWEL AND THEY WERE SOAKING DID YOU SEE

I’m ngl if a family sized meal had a tiny piece of paper towel I can’t say I would care much. It’s not poisonous, it doesn’t have a taste, it’s way less gross than a lot of stuff found in grocery store ground meats, and if is it there it’s a very small amount in a family sized portion and no one would notice. Maybe if the paper towels used are exceptionally bad ones it could be more of an issue, or if you decide to use paper towels that were previously used for changing car oil or something that would be bad, but regular clean paper powers I’m not seeing anything that outrageous. Hers also didn’t seem to be disintegrating at all to me. If anything boiling ground meats sounds more out there vs draining or paper towels. And for the soaking part, isn’t that the point? If they don’t get wet at all then that means they had nothing to soak up, but they did because she definitely used a cheap and fatty ground beef. Again, I feel like draining it regularly would probably be better regardless, but in the context of the rest of he video it seems like one of the things I’d side eye least.
