I think definitely EXO is more solid than BTS.. Exo is sharper dancers has better stage presence and better vocals... BTS might be better rappers...but I really don't care about rap that much so..

Basically this. They both excel in different areas but when it comes to presence I think they’re pretty equal. Both groups are excellent performers too and which is “better” or more enjoyable falls down to the viewer’s preference in my opinion.

In other words: stan both and you’ll get talent, good music, personality and visuals.

Overall, I think BTS have better energy as a group, when performing. In EXO's case, they have their power vocals going for them, but when it comes to a performance as a group, their cohesion is not as great as BTS's, in my opinion.

I would lose my Exo-L card, that I purchased, if I said BTS. But even then Exo is superior.

As people before me said, both groups have their edge against each other which kinda balances them out at the end.

I personally enjoy EXO's performances more since their songs and dance style fits more to my preference.

For me it's EXO.

Their vocals are on a different level. They sing live and seriously...they still sounds amazing live even with all the performances. I don't know anything about rap, but I always enjoyed EXO's rap line even before I was a fan of them.

Their performances are awesome. Never disappoint me and I don't think that they are lacking behind at all.

So yeah, it is clearly EXO for me.

BTS. EXO stage presence is good overall but some members are shining more than the others ( Kai of course, Baekhyun who captivates the audience and Minseok who is really charismatic but BTS interaction with the public, energy and charisma can compete with a group like 2NE1 and Big Bang. Being a performer is not just about following perfectly the choreography for me. Just my opinion and of course EXO is doing more than just that.

EXO is better at singing and BTS at rapping and for both the difference is huge. I wouldn’t try a comparison between Jimin and Chen as I wouldn’t compare Sehun or Chanyeol to RM or Suga.

For dance it would be a tie if Yixing was allowed to be with EXO but it’s not the case. My personal preference for the choreographies go to BTS anyways.
