They’re above idol average in dance, rap and vocals, with the best rap line in kpop imo, have amazing music with huge variety (my fave from 2nd gen and one of my fave overall) and are self-produced, kyung is the smartest kpop idol with a 150+ iq, and I loved watching him on that show where they solve riddles and solving alongside (some I even got faster than them!) BTS RM and exo suho and rv wendy also appeared, they’re smart too

All 7 moved to another company together yet stayed together

I must admit that I don't know much about Block B, I just remember that their rap line was superior and they had great songs. I also remember that show you are talking about, it was fun to watch them, Kyung indeed is a smart guy.

No, I didn't know they had/have subunits. I need to check their old songs too, because my memory is failing me lately and I only remember like Nalina and Nillili Mambo. Their music wasn't exactly my taste, but I will check the subunits.

I just consider all 2012 debuts 3rd gen, but if exo started 3rd gen vixx are 100% 3rd since they debuted after exo and exo are always considered 3rd

groups like bap, btob, exid debuted in 2012 but before exo are the ones that are debateable

If BAP counts as 2nd gen I would include them along with Shinee

Yeah I consider all 2012 debuts 3rd gen, but ppl say exo started 3rd gen, so any 2012 debuts that debuted after exo like vixx shouldn't even be debateable as 2nd gen

I wasn't into male groups during 2nd generation, but, I did like ShiNee's debut song Replay-- mainly because the Japanese MV had Yoona Im from Girls' Generation featured, then I liked the Korean MV.
