She's Filipino by nationality, and from her mother's side. Yet from her father's side she's of Latinx background and from her appearance she seems to have a higher proportion of western Latinx genealogy. This would make her the first Latinx idol to have debuted? I know they get very excited when idols cover Spanish songs.
