Why did Park Bom get her first project out but not CL? (1 Viewer)

It depends what you mean by first project though? Since both of them had solo debuts while they were in 2NE1. Park Bom was first time that too, I think the reason would be that her voice was adored and she would sell more than CL- or it would be less risky. If you mean by recent comebackas well Park Bom is in company that is dedicated to her unlike YG which keeps neglecting CL and blocking her.

From what I heard, the three didn’t know that Minzy has decided to leave, no clue how true that is. And I don’t think she just gets to leave like that after renewing...

This is honestly a mystery to all BJs. She has let us know that she is being mistreated and YGE is not even trying to hide it anymore. You could think at one point they (YG) would get tired and just break their contact but that it's not happening and it seems like CL is just waiting until it ends, which doesn't make any sense to me either.

i thought the way things played out was that after minzy left they resigned under the assumption that they would continue 2ne1 as 3. but then a few months later yg said no and they let bom out of her contract. i'm assuming they did that bc they couldn't fulfill the contract obligations. it would be the same for cl no? so why is she still there..idk. i hope she leaves this year. the contract they renewed was probably for 3 years.

thanks! maybe cl is staying bc her contract with scooter braun in america is longer than the one with yg. and maybe they want her to stay in yg. idk. so weird.
