Why do Onces act like Twice didn’t have big 3 privilege? (2 Viewers)

Lol this is a narrative a lot of Onces like to run with. However, TWICE "flopping" in the beginning was FAR from the truth. Sure, LOA might've not done a whole lot of flashy things like debut in the top 3 or get PAKs/CAKs and all that. However, it did spend a few weeks in the top 10 before the rise. And this rise was before CU was even released. With this rise, they spent several weeks in the top 10.

I feel like only certain onces believe that. I think someone brought this up before and I mentioned then too that like ooh-aah had extended promotion because of it's success. It wasn't at the level Twice has now but they were never doing badly. Between being a big 3 group and Sixteen they had good exposure.

I really do not have a lot of contact with ONCEs but, like @joshuaology says, every artist coming from the big 3 is priviledged with spotlight from the start. It's up to them whether they will use it or not.

Every group from Big3 does tbh, I think a small majority of Once that are saying it is because JYP profit wasn't that high before so they presume JYPE got to where it is today as Big3 purely thanks to Twice... Basically I seen these idiots saying 'Suzy wasn't as big as people claimed' and '2PM are flop' these kind of rude comment so I won't really take these people seriously lol..

Well... Twice is from a big agency this alone is a "privilege" I barely see people talking about this to be fair (maybe I am not in the right places), also I don't consider their debut a flop idk why so many people say it's a flop (even some "onces" claim that it was a flop)? I disagree with this, their debut was good and had a lot of attention. But any group debuting under the "big 3" has already privilege everyone knows it, they are already famous before debuting in a way, because who don't know SM and others? Everyone is gonna check them out...
