people strive to stay alive ?

as everyone knows ,life is pretty hopeless when u broke

nobody would take you seriously if you are broke

even if you are a huge beauty ,ppl would keep asking 'why are you broke - are u lazy?'

there are people who work like three jobs and they’re barely making ends meet

they stay alive because they know they’re helping someone else they care about or they see opportunities in the future

this hits a very soft spot for my experiences

money does not determine your work ethic or self worth, i seriously hate how we live in such a monetary based society

there are rich people who fail to see the point in life too
money isn't really everything in life but you do need it, it's a depressing reality
everyone poor has their own reasons for pushing through despite their lack of wealth
they're subject to stereotypes such as lazy but then again, so do wealthy people except different stereotypes
the reality of our society sucks for both sides
but there is a bigger meaning to life than the superficial labels we're placed in

I mean if you're a parent its not really ethical to commit suicide as that is likely to place a greater burden on your family and potentially have your children enter foster care.

Speaking as someone who doesn't have kids, but has lived under the poverty line and has at times lived in subsidized housing and/or under slum lords, it doesn't mean that every part of your life sucks because you don't have disposable income.

This however will differ depending on city and country since what is considered poor in one country tends to be different in other countries.
