AB6IX maintained the record for most-streamed 4th gen boy group debut until THIS YEAR. AB6IX also broke records with their sales when they debuted and they continue to sell very well. Not only Daehwi and Woojin but Woong and Donghyun are also very popular. Donghyun participated in PD101S2 so he already had fans, not to mention the fact that he had debuted in a duo prior to joining AB6IX once Daehwi and Woojin were free from the W1 contract. The group isn't flopping and continues to release great music.

Bro their debut was huge af!!!! Like they may not be huge nowadays but their first two years were like biggggg even with youngmin's departure I remember the answer being huge af (I still love the song omllllll)

Well they disbanded ages ago and the rigging scandal didn’t help. My guess is that, along with the kind of show they come from makes it so that people will move on more quickly, whether it’s to another produce group or a group that has a former Wanna One member they liked. IOI were the first so I feel like that helped keep people talking about them, and Izone were a group for a longer time and we’re much pre recent. There could be lots of other factors too ofc

Yeah produce really shifts in and out of groups it's wild. It's like dopamine, they have this huge reaction when they're around but it doesn't last
