But the "teasers" are like almost full length of a normal M/V.. 2 out of the 3 track videos are 2 1/2 minutes long.. why not go the full distance then and just make it for the full song?

Shorter is still easier even if they're not super short. Otherwise I don't know really, other than not wanting to spoil whole songs and having incentive for people to listen to whole songs when they release the album. Who really knows.
