It doesnt matter how rich they are if it doesnt seem profiteable they would be less inclined to do it. They do need preperations, they cant just debut a group out of nowhere with no plan as to their future. They need members that were trained and have time to prepare for their debut, which they may have but its more likely imo they have members who theyre going to use in nct. Its not about making a debut, that doesnt matter if you dont have any idea of whats going to happen with the. Also whats a traditional sm boygroup? They havent had one ever, why would they start now? The closest they have is probably shinee, which arent traditional due to their different contracts and direction, they were a project group but they tend to be the most mainstream I guess. As for a traditional girl group that would work for sure. That needs less preparation, thats less risky by a long shot, thats been anticipated for a long time. A gg makes sense, a bg doesnt at all.
