Winter time and the fact that it gets dark at 4:30 is so depressing... I feel like I'm doing nothing all day And I am still tired

I don't know how to put it in English, but in Estonian we call it "videviku pidamine" which is basically for those long winter evenings/nights
the entire thing is.... finding yourself a warm and cozy place and doing something nice and quiet. Reading a story, putting a puzzle together, just having a conversation with others.

It's exactly bcs you don't have much energy, bcs it's dark.
You just.... chill, cozy yourself up and enjoy

I'm used to long nights as I'm kind of a night owl. So I guess darker/shorter days don't affect me much.

Winter is the cozy season. I prefer it to summer lol. But that's because I can't stand heat.

However, for those that prefer summer or at least just days that last longer than 10 minutes, I can see how it sucks.

believe it or not, I used to be a night owl too, to stay up until 3-4, but now I feel like a grandma, sleepy until I have to actually sleep, and then I can't sleep anymore

same here... one of the reasons why i hate december so much. i try all these "cozy" things to make myself feel better but none of that helps. i don't really like summer either (i wish it was spring all year long) because of the heat but if i'm being honest i'd choose the heat over whatever's going on in the winter any day

ugh, I like summer, I like spring too, but what's fall or winter... no thanks I only like Christmas

LOL i can't even feel the difference because i do nothing every day but still get tired somehow
