you have to wait 6 months to change your user/display name
Also the avatars are tiny so if you like a big avatar
chances are, you won't be impressed

source: I was a member there meaning past tense
I do not want to be there anymore

this sounds like my name enthusiasts' forums. you couldn't even make an intro thread without the written versions of weird looks, and just dropping in and saying hey was just not done. lack of acknowledgement is one reason I left those forums, the other one being its toxicity.
