Newest news about Hyorin's bullying scandal is that she and the victim settled it quietly, agency giving statement that the sides reached peaceful solution: Hyolyn Settles Dispute With Person Claiming To Be Victim Of Singer’s Alleged School Bullying

Hyorin's bullying scandal started with victim coming out with story of her getting bullied by Hyorin in middle school 3 years including physical abuse and Hyorin stealing her money. Hyorin first released statement that she doesn't really remember, but wants to meet up with alleged victim and talk with them. Then soon after her agency released statement threatening to sue for one sided accusations.

I still have no idea if bullying happened or not, but Hyorin's and her agencys actions really paint her quilty as charged. Like they make the whole thing seem like Hyorin really bullied and first tried to silent the victim with legal threats and now did it with money. This just feels so awful way to handle the scandal, I really hope they release more through statement on what really went on and explaining whole thing and their actions.

Thats' really how it seems and it's just such awful way to handle the situation. If she was innocent she should have said outright she was going to sue and if she wasn't sure release statement by company that they would look into it and confirm and sue all false rumors. And if she wasn't then the suing part shouldn't even be there, it should be apology and then settlement with victim.

I liked Hyorin as well, but after this, I can't.
There are many people who bully when they are at school, but because they are still kids, you will give them a chance to apologize if they actually did bully them when they are an adult because we all make stupid mistakes, but to handle it in this way and to try and make the person who was bullied look bad and would have actually sued them even though it actually looks like Hyolyn bullied her victim, just says so much about Hyorin as a person and is not sorry for her actions.
This is disappointing to say the least. She is supposed to be a role model for everyone who looks up to her.
This will not only damage her reputation but also Sistar's reputation as well.
What a shame.
For someone who has released a single called 'You know better', you should read that more carefully and know the true meaning of it.

Yup the problem with this that people want to some kind of explanation on this, what really happened. Settling with possible victim in quiet doesn't mean that everyone is suddenly satisfied, especially when it was done in pretty shady way (or at least in way that sounded really shady). It's not nice to be left in uncertaintity if the person you idolize or at least like is bully or not.

So dissapointed in her about the way she handles that. She was my favorite female soloist. I can do otherwise but to ignore her now.
