I really want to stan Pristin but they’re disbanded. Is it worth stanning a disbaneded group?​

I still have bittersweet feelings but not as much as one it's who stanned them since produce x 101. But I mostly am healed everyday because they interact all of the time! And they have gotten put together in shows many times! Look at the interactions with Woodz alone in just a month or two! They got to host idol radio together

absolutely worth it imo, stanned 2ne1 this year, longg after disbandment. the music hasn't gone anywhere, and it's excellent imo. and this also means i got to stan 4 soloists, and i got to see their reunion at coachella! i love their bond, and i'm so glad i did stan them

if i was into them before they disbanded and at least a few members are still active in the entertainment industry, yes. otherwise no. i dont think i would ever start stanning a group after they disbanded

if i liked their music then sure, like i do these days with wonder girls who disbanded 5 years ago. the only exception would be if they have a smaller discography and absolutely no members are still active so there wouldn't even be much to stan, but luckily i haven't ever been interested in a group like that

I really wouldn't because I consider a group over when they're disbanded like I have Yerin, Yuju and Viviz in my signature not Gfriend because what activities am I following of Gfriend? The answer is none because Gfriend isn't active but I keep up with Yerin, I keep up with Yuju, I keep up with Viviz and I try to keep up with Sowon although she's making that hard with her lack of activity I've thought about putting Solji in my signature instead of EXID for the same reason but they're "technically" just on hiatus and enough groups do this that I'm just rolling with it at this point

People use the argument what's to stan. They don't have comebacks and so on. That really is negligable to me. There will tend to be solo activities from at least one member. SNSD has been inactive for how long and we still get solo comebacks from Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica, and other members. Plus there tends to be enough material from disbanded groups to last. You can post old mvs, performances, solo status updates, fan meetups, clips from variety shows and so on.

edit: Plus as we use it on KS the word stan is really a meaningless word that people use to connect to other people on KS through groups they have in common. My version of a stan is different from @RandAlThor version of a stan. I don't post updates on individual members of the groups I stan, but I don't view that as me being less of a fan than he is. Just a different expression of devotion.
