to me it's the ability to be in love with multiple people equality and engage in multiple romantic relationships with the consent of everyone involve. everyone in the polycule love each other. polyamory requires lots of trust to work out since it's one big love group.

the difference with open relationships to me, they (open relationship) often happen when someone is unsatisfied and goes to someone else to fulfill what's missing in their relationship (with their partner's consent ofc otherwise that's cheating).
