I'd be a villain because being evil would be so much fun.

That's why actors say having those roles is more fun because the characters cross lines heroes / protagonists won't.

And you sometimes hear in producers' or directors' interviews how those actors are the nicest people off-screen, but when they're on camera, the evilness in villain characters is portrayed so well.
