While birds evolved from dinosaurs, all dinosaurs are technically considered reptiles, with T. rex even meaning king tyrant lizard. However, birds are considered the only modern dinosaurs and considered reptiles. So even if you chose birds you would choose reptiles

TLDR birds are technically reptiles so abe can choose both by choosing bird which would also be a dinosaur, and a reptile
