Plus it's not like texting is the only method of communication, I can also call people, though it's a lot less convenient.​

Emojis are obviously unclear because they're not words and they'll always feel like instant homework to solve. Using them would kind of feel like returning to Morse Code. So, why would I go through that insufferable pain?
