Part of me wants a last name that isn't as common as the one I have, but another part of me likes being close to the beginning of the alphabet.

No because his last name is (IMO) really Dutch and boring and I like mine more I think it's more unique.

Also, I'm not that person who is following traditional rules because I hate that. I like to be my own person by keeping my own name because that's who I am
