as now produce japan is in japan so they have there sets free now

i really wouldnt be shocked if they did another produce girl teaser
to try pull the attention away from there current groups

The issues is the whole premise of the group is in doubt.
Group chosen by national producers ect... That is the selling point to the public in both Korea and Japan.

I really really doubt any j line members were eliminated as nationalistic as Korea is and as much real time chat i saw about removing all the Japanese.
Having those 3 survive seems best case.
the j trainees ranked high for 1 show and in the final were exposed as severely lacking skill wise still.

maybe Chowon and Kaeun but i am leaning to just Chowon.

but i think they will do a weird teaser to get people to audition
like be focus on company less people
and i feel like this one will be more focused on
"anyone can vote"
so more of a western audience will watch etc
as no hope in korea for the most part

Tbh, i think the groups should disband if all top 20 were fixed cause that means no competition actually happened. I wasn't fan of groups though, just mildly interested on I*ZONE, since I ended up disliking the line ups so whole thing being rigged is big nope Like we could have actually had members in the groups I was interested about.. I am bit salty.

Still, I'm sure both fandoms already have fans who care about the group and members and don't care about the competition being rigged and that's their right. People have different reasons to support or not support and as long as they aren't bandwagoning or misinformed it's valid to me.

Since the voting did happen unless Mnet erased all the actual voting data to cover up with the crime, there should be data evidence that has actual votes and the actual line up. So there is definitely way to know it just depends how much data was destroyed and if it could be retrieved in some way. If it can it's sth that could get released.

the problem is that the top 20 itself is fake. So even if they get the vote for those in the finale they are no cleaner than the existing group.

Well i think the data would work more as evidence on who people voted even if voting pool (top 20) was decided by Mnet. I just think it is evidence that might still exist and that might get released to public.

It can't be used to fix the group cause just replacing members is not as valid anymore. Either the groups continue like they are or they disband cause of this.

i only casually listen to iz*one and i'm not into x1 at all (i loved their debut song though) so i might not be among those who this question was directed at, but i couldn't imagine dropping a group in such situation when the members aren't responsible for any of the mess that's currently going on. hating mnet? that's okay i mean who doesn't! but dropping the group where the members did nothing wrong makes no sense to me.

We may not have a choice. Mnet /OTR could vanish them. i had 12-15 albums ordered and they sent the money back ... well not mnet yet :)
2021 was already breaking my heart, but his train wreck with so much out of their control is taking it to new levels.

Now with the news that the whole top 20 was rigged, there's basically no way to solve this with the group surviving since you can't kick everyone out and there's no real way to know who would've been chosen without interference so there's only 1 other way to do something about this since doing nothing isn't gonna fly.

There's still another option. Let's say the top 20 issue is confirmed now, police should look for the actual vote result from concept evaluation eps to expose the real top 20. In the end of this lawsuit process, court order can include a re-election of final line up for free that should be done by Mnet.

I'm not dropping X1 for anything...This isn't their fault that they are rigged. I'm more disappointed than their company than anything. I'm also disappointed in the PD for agreeing. How can they do that to these boys with dreams! They look so fragile these days, that it hurts me. The looks in their eyes....it saddens me as an X1 supporter.
