These boys need CF's, it's unfair that no one will pick them up because of the shit that MNET pulled. Selling albums and doing events is not enough, if you want to make a lot of money, you need CF's and you need to tour. That's how Blackpink probably gets paid ridiculous amount of money despite having one comeback a year and it works out well.

Also Wanna One was paid first in November, 3 months after the debut, and all of it was because of CF's, not because of album sales.

After months of relentless training and grueling schedules, the result of their hard works have started to materialize financially. Wanna One members recently received their first paychecks. Each of the 11-piece group earned 150 million KRW (approximately US$133,000).

YMC, which manages the group, says that the pay that the members received was a portion of earnings from commercial films they've shot. "The pay that each person was paid recently, a portion of CF earnings," the company says. "There are also a lot of CFs shot after this (period). The sum this time isn't earnings from doing CFs up until now but a percentage of the earnings from CFs that were shot in the beginning."

It's estimated that the group made 3.3 billion KRW (approximately US$2.9 million) total in terms of pure profit together, which was first split with CJ E&M and YMC Entertainment. The boys will then split their individual paychecks with their labels according to their contracts. However, Kim Jae Hwan, who is an independent trainee takes it all for himself.
