I feel like the issue is more likely that Hybe didn't really care about who debuted with Sakura and Chaewon but they just wanted to get something together in order to get the girls out there so they have made themselves look foolish not checking the other members properly. There was that thing about one of the members being from Europe too which just turned out to be her having studied in Europe for a short while.

I think its a typo, on the paper it says 1학년 3반 (1st-grade class 3) & 1학년 2반 (1st-grade class 2)

I think what is definitely hurting the case in the eyes of kpop fans who pay a lot of attention to the industry in general is that HYBE already has a history in doing absolutely nothing if their trainee does something shit. Like Leo in Trainee A had no repercussions for performing a misogynistic rap literally for a HYBE trainee showcase so it makes it much easier for people to believe that HYBE literally didn't screen the people they are taking on as trainees nowadays

I would think major agency's would own PIs to check out the kids past as a permeant part of the team picking process.

Some to go thru all the social media stuff ect.
heck a normal background check would pick up protection orders.

I can't tell if this is from the police or from school, if the latter, you can't really ask every single person in a school how they feel about that person. A lot of trainees have to go scorched earth once they get accepted, SNS gone, phone number changed etc
Her "victims" are claiming that these violence accusations are on her official school records too.
Seems like they wanted to get the IZONE girls on the market as soon as possible to avoid an IOI situation and the rest of the other members got rushed through. I think there's another member that added in just a few months before debut?

Not even just on Hybes side since there was that rumour of Han Seo Hee being in Gfriends lineup until she dipped because she didn't see them going anywhere so it really makes you wonder if they're even trying to weed people out.

kazuha literally started training 4 months ago, chaewon and yunjin joined hybe 8 months ago, eunchae's trainee period was 1 year; all a really short time period to settle in everything compared to mhj who makes a big deal about handpicking all her trainees and spending all that time going through mock high school experience in korean and english etc
so my guess is that sometime before august 2021, there was some sort of faction infighting in hybe that led to mhj to do her own thing, taking the trainees she chose and trusted staff along with the plans she made beforehand to ador, letting the other faction(s) in source to lead their own group
and since they were expected to debut a gg around lsm's debut, they kind of rushed things to accommodate for the fact that they had to essentially start a group over from scratch so they didn't have the time to do so

tbh I want to know what went down because even in her most overworked days mhj has never been so outwardly shady about sm, apart from how she really hated the trainee management and trainee selection divide or the corporate atmosphere to sm
and then if you read through her beattitude interview, it’s really clear that she has serious slights about the lsm faction, like the shade is real here “I don’t like people who try hard to come across as a good person for show. I’m not easily won over by those tactics. I hope our girls will be warm-hearted to everyone in any circumstance. Being kind for the sake of appearances requires conscious effort so it becomes a chore. It’s tiring and eventually becomes difficult to keep up. I think your inner values are what count the most.”

I agree, idk what went on w lsm’s debut prep, but I feel awful about all the members and the boat they’re being put in
even with garam they should’ve been resolved it privately prior to her debut, I have my reservations about her but I also don’t agree with everyone’s dirty laundry getting aired out like this
