One full year has passed since I joined this forums, also another year comes to an end, its really crazy how fast time flies.

I remember very well how I stumbled upon this lovely place, the majority of threads were introduction threads created by newcomers and every single one of them I checked, was full of friendly users welcoming them. It genuinely gave a warm and welcoming atmosphere and I decided to join too! I was not dissapointed, as I was welcomed the same way I saw with the other users. I remember especially @YouChan and @Hilary being incredibly sweet and helped me feel more comforotable to interact with others and branch out of my introduction thread, thank you so much for that! Also @Melting who introduced my to the card game and gifted me my first card

Later I learned it's not the everyday here, that so many users join.. but what never changed is how welcoming and sweet the community is! I still see every thread in the introduction section flooded with sweet and welcoming messages and that always makes me very happy, as I love KPS to be place like that

I also met @seoriverse and we had so much fun, I would say my first 1-2 month on here were probably the most fun I ever had online. Sadly Seori left after that and only pops back up now and then, but I still always remember that time fondly. In hindsight it feels a bit like a dream

Either way, soon after that IVE came back with the IVE I've album and the title tracks KITSCH and I AM, that really made me stan the group and since then I shower the forums not only with many threads on Twice, but also on IVE too Sometimes I'm worried you guys are probably already sick of it

A lot of other things happend too, but I don't want too stretch this thread too long.. so I'm just going to focus on one last thing.

Today the winners of the 2023 KPS awards got announced and I won User of the year, Rookie of the year and Friendliest user. I really did not expect to be nominated for all those awards and even less to win all of them. I'm really very greatful for all the love you guys showed me today and throughout the year! I hope to become an even better cat in the next year and am looking forward to another fun and exciting year on here

I remember when you first joined, you were so worried that people would gloss over you, and felt left out because a lot of us knew each other before joining and you didn't. Yet, you didn't let that stop you and kept on meeting new people. Yay! I'm so glad my introduction had that effect. It makes me happy every time you tell me that.

I miss @seoriverse too. So many people joined here but didn't stay and I miss them @doesitneedsaying @sleepy @bluetree @monalisalove @Nyaz and so on. My point being I get that feeling and know what it's like. I still see all those warm messages too, and it makes me so happy to be part of such an amazing forum.

I didn't know you started stanning IVE after you joined! I just, for some reason, assumed you always had. That's a surprise to me. I'll call it now, unlike you, I definitely did predict you to be nominated and win a lot of awards. Why not? You're one of the most well known, active users here, and you post a lot, are nice and are generally well liked by most other users. I'd be far more shocked if you didn't win anything than if you did. Happy New Year to you too!

I already liked them quite a bit since After Like, but I do not like calling me a stan of a group easily after 1-2 good songs, so I was looking forward to their next releases and when the album came, I was fully convinced as it had so many great tracks on it and also a really big album with 11 unique new songs. So I decided to officially stan and treat them on the same level as Twice
