I'm kind of REALLY hoping this isn't about a new girl group. I know it's over-said at this point, but they can't even manage their current groups. They should not even be thinking of debuting another group. And that fact that they're another girl group too... We're basically never going to see Black Pink again.​

Frankly I called it last year. The album, the solos, multiple comebacks and it’s motivation. This may sound cold but I’m not sure why it matters or why people should still be complaining. It’s clear YG’s formula of BP as mainly influencers who release safe music once a year works.

HYLT got a PAK, charted in the top 20 of UK Singles, & on Spotify BP was the only female act in the top streams along with Grande & Lady Gaga. Despite all the complaints from non-stan kpop fans & Blinks from prioritizing music to wanting artist evolution, the numbers & hype show that Blinks, & kpop consumers don’t really care that much.

YG can manage a new group with giving BP a teddy track comeback once a year for the next two years, especially with WINKON probably entering the military soon & contracts ending. Most of YG’s acts are gone & 4th Gen GGs like ITZY/(G)I-DLE seem to be going back to the two comebacks a year format. Even if BP goes a year without a release it won’t affect the arrangement. The only people that I think loses is some of the ladies creative yearnings.

I’m not even trying to be petty but it works & their titles have been the same type of formal since 2017/2018. It’s the typical sound Teddy could make in his sleep. Like lots of pop it’s familiar so people relate to it. Don’t change it if it works.

Oh, I can see that one coming and it won't be pretty. For YGE there's no better way to promote a new group than shamelessly using their older group to push the newer one, while putting fans towards each other in the process.

At first I wasn’t sure if any of the new groups would do well but I think both or at least one may very well be successful maybe even mega successful. Mainly bc the GP in Korea & the wider Asian market recognize & still like YG groups. Also there’s a lot of new kpop fans, especially GG stans that are on the look out for the new trend.
