interesting

I wonder what's in EG's contract and whether Yuehua have been transparent about the accounts
That's a good question. Industry standard says doubtful. thenonly real way to find out is for the girls to hack them or sue them.

one of the things I'm strongly in favour in terms of kpop contracts is transparency
I don't have an issue with unfair contracts since by its very nature kpop relationships are imbalanced between the company and idol however I am in favour of having transparency in contracts especially as it relates to accounts...

I found an article even it's Korea boo
Then how did they earn their living?

Yiren: From debut until now, not even once. I’m a worker with 0 salary hahahahaha. It’s okay, at least I can still see Forever. And have the chance to stand on stage. It’s fine.
Yiren, that's not funny, that's not ok, that's NOT fine! :jisoono:

This is for sure the final nail in Everglow's coffin as a group. I think they know it and are ready for it. This is their way of taking a shot at the company before the ship sinks? Good for them if it is. :YeKill:
Then so be it. Let them disband. Give them jobs outside the K-Pop industry where they get paid for their hard work. Maybe they can even self-produce their next album with the help of their fandom via Crowdfunding/Kickstarter campaign?

I love Everglow especially because of their amazing songs in the past but I'll not support such lousy company!

Not to look like I'm just going against the flow but if you know anything about the Kpop process this is fairly standard as idols will debut in debt and then the company will look to promote them until the debt is paid off and only then will you start making money. Gfriend took until Fingertip to pay off their debt and that included 2 massive hits and 2 smaller ones to accomplish so I'm not surprised that Everglow hasn't but it also feels like they weren't really given the chance since their activity has been spotty at best during a time when Kpop was growing in popularity so they have yet to earn enough to pay off the cost of training them.

I mean i find this common sense really. They havent released a digital hit in Korea yet, their sales are fairly low. The attendence of their tours are quite low too. The audience from their 2024 US tour was 200-700 people each city. They probably havent broken even yet. Keep in mind a group that debuted around them from another similar sized agency aka StayC only broke even after 2 digital hits and selling above 200k for their albums at the time. And even StayC expressed they are already worried about how the interest in their work seems to have decreased, ofc bc it affects their salary.
